2013 Mercedes S-Class spied with less camouflage
May 26, 2012
Agreed but, you must admit at that the shape of the grill along with the shape of the front end of the vehicle, at least with the camo on, make it look like a DTS at first glance. I think the new S is going to be awesome for the record.

BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe coming next year - report
May 24, 2012
I'd be the first to agree that BMW is watering down it's products but, if the 4 Series Gran Coupe looks anything like this I'll take one red!

Yeah, our dealer here in town has 3 of them. One silver, one black, and one blue.
BMW considering an X7 crossover, re-imagined CS - report

@air_cooled Range Rovers suffer from the sins of their past. The new ones, like all new vehicles, have their issues. However, most times when something goes wrong on a Range Rover, you can drive it to the repair facility. When an X5 breaks down, it's usually freezing cold and you need to get it flat bedded to the dealer. I think X5's are terrible off road vehicles because, well, they are terrible off road vehicles. Most of them have rubber bands for tires, weak transfer cases, see X5 50i, and extremely weak aluminum suspension components. The differential vents are also located right on top of the diffs. They would fill up with water and leave you stranded. The Range Rover's diff vents are remotely mounted higher up allowing you to ford. The only Fording you'll be doing in an X5 is when you get sick of walking and trade your garbage X5 off at the local Ford dealer for something more reliable! They are good on the road. There is no question that they could go around a track or a corner faster than a Range Rover. They aren't meant for off road use. Period. You can't argue the point. X5's come with Dunlop Sport Max 275's on the front and 315's on the back! If snow is even in the forecast an X5 will have a hard time moving. I'm not saying Range Rovers are the most reliable or the most capable off road vehicle out there, but they are miles ahead of the X5 in both regards. E70 especially. I'm not sure what your trying to say in the second half of post. Please, elaborate.

LOL @ air_cooled! The difference between the X5 and the Range Rover has class and off road ability. The X5 is built with such a lack of attention to detail and build quality that it's disgusting to anyone who has ever had respect for the BMW brand. It's designed to take misinformed soccer mom's and their douche husbands to the mall. That's it. The Rover has an air of class and oppulance that could never be matched by any X5. Not to mention if you were to take an X5 off road, you would be left with a very expensive repair bill... providing it didn't break down on you before you even got to where you're going.

Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake spied again
April 17, 2012
I can't take it anymore! This is an absolute stretch to call this car a shooting brake! Look at it! It's a station wagon! The Ferrari FF and the BMW Z3 Coupes are shooting brakes. It's like Mercedes is putting lipstick on a pig and telling us it's pretty! Sigh..... people will buy it though...
2014 Ford Mustang to ditch the retro styling - report
April 17, 2012
When Ford introduced the Fox body Mustang in 1979 it was critized by many of looking like the Mercedes-Benz SLC. Too European. Too different. They sold 369,936 Mustangs that year. That was one of the best single year sales totals of the Mustang's history. I love the current Mustang but sometimes change isn't a bad thing.
