VW to eye F1 only if costs are lower - official This is the only brand that would make absolutely no sense! Skoda doesn't have the profile of a sports car manufacturer, it's more like a pensioner's car. What sounds more logical would be Bugatti/Porsche/Lambo/Audi as the performance brand, or VW as the core player in the VAG group, or even SEAT as the brand with the more dynamic and younger clientelle.
