Peugeot axes endurance racing program one thing that I have learned to be synonymous with the Peugeot brand, is whenever they compete they go all out! they proved it in 80's when the WRC was dominated by the Quattro's with the 205 Turbo 16, the Dakar Rally with the same car, after a long absence in the WRC they came back in 1999 with 206 WRC and won Manufacture's title 3 years in a row from 2000/1/2 they pulled out, came to Les Mans and the laid to rest the Audi R10, R15 and practically buried the Audi R18 last season with the 908...I for one from that brief history knows what Peugeot stands for in motorsport and will not believe anything else. It's a sad loss for Les Mans and especially Audi who will probably have no competition this year, devastating news for the newly launched FIA Series. Au revoir Peugeot from one of your most passionate followers, I know one thing for sure that your next endeavour in motorsport, in whatever guise, will be a success and will always benefit your fans :)

Peugeot won one in 2008, with Audi winning 4 2007,2009, 2010,2011? so make that 5 and not 10, secondly ILMC is not centered around Les Mans, Les Mans is a prestigious race by it's right which all teams seek to win (don't believe what wikipedia tells you), it's a culmination of Les Mans racing, that's like saying Ford in the WRC are dominating Citroen by just winning Monte Carlo out of the entire season's races, see it as you may though (although I agree with you, it has make a nice consolation prize for Audi for 4 seasons). While 908 put to retirment the R10, R15 and was already screwing the R18. Facts are Peugeot held the Manufacturer's title and drivers title in the SERIES of races, now you tell me 4 race wins prove dominance? that's low esteem type of stuff man. Fact is Peugeot has won 14 out of the last 16 races and two thirds of the entire races since returning to Les Mans, and that's just Team Peugeot Total, excluding Pescarolo Peugeot and Oreca Matmut Peugeot, but then again Les Mans is a good consolation prize and that's the only cup in Audi's cabinet for the whole season, keep on convincing yourself that the real endurance test is one race agianst the whole season.
