2010 Mercedes E Class Coupe Profiled in Latest Spy Shots At last the revival of the proper E-Class coupe, which was intended to be the CLS. Let's hope this new coupe will restore some of the solidity of the w124 coupe. To be honest, the past 2 CLK's have been confused, the first model based on the new e-class (not pillarless), the second being c-class based and of low build quaility, especially switchgear which has only been marginally improved in the facelifted model. Given the shots of the 2010 e-class, it seems some of the straight lines, and simple efficiency will prevail in the new model and so this should be carried through into the coupe. I also hope some attempt is made to move away from tacky plastics. Benz should remember what they are good at, solid engineering, high build quality, inviting interiors (wood, leather and solid / simple textures).
