2013 Acura RDX Crossover revealed The 2.3 Turbo only on 17-21 mpg it was not good and took Premium Gas. But the V6 I had in my TSX V6 I was getting 36 mpg highway on a 280hp 3.5 liter V6 . That is the differnce! If im not mistaken the weight in the RDX will be similar to a TSX V6

2013 Acura RDX Crossover revealed I had a the 4 banger and it did not put out!! Very Noisy up Hills and Mountains to a point Where i just got annoyed and Traded it in for TL. Acura should have never put the 4 in it from the start. The V6 in Both the TSX and TL that I have will be sufficient for the Heavy body the RDX has. If 6 was in the current Body it would have performed and beat its rivals I would believe. The high rev 4 also only got 17-21mpg on gas and at time my Pilot was getting Way better gas than the RDX. IT was it greatest down fall. This six i will probably trade in my Pilot for the RDX due to the fact The Acura will have a six speed auto.

Consumers will want a 2.4 liter pushing about 240 Hp or throw in the 2.3 Turbo from the last RDX model and just make it a 2.4 liter Turbo pushing 250-260 Hp. If Acura is Listening this will be a great entry level Acura and the Integra DNA will live on!! Another Major engine to consider would be a Turbo Diesel the 2.2 that they offer in Europe this Turbo Diesel I saw in action in Europe and offered a 44 mpg on the Last TSX body. On this New ILX it would bring the ECO friendly crowds into the Acura Dealership and not into a VW or Audi or Merc. who already offer Diesels in their line up. As for the Designs it Good but the rear could have used more TSX and Integra DNA design in it. Im Happy to see this Acura but as for the SHEILD look. IT HAS TO GO!! GET RID OF IT , Remember the Saturn ? It still looks like the front of ONE! USE a EURO Design clean grill not that Ugly shield Acura!!
