2010 Chevrolet Equinox Pricing to Start at $23,185
June 12, 2009
I would like to add in a bit. In my opinion the new 2010 Equinox is a well made machine, and is priced fairly as well. Also it is ridiculous that you guys would even compare a GLK, simply because Mercedes is known and prized as luxury. Also, the GLK is priced $10,000 more and not to mention the GL is $30,000 more. Do you know that $30,000 can be calculated to about 6 years worth a gas considering that one is using $400 worth of gas per month? And the GLK has almost 10 mile less to the gallon than the Equinox. Sure the New Equinox is bigger, but who decided that everyone wants to downsize. I for one think the crossovers look like a car mixed with a mini-van, they are just flat out ridiculous. There are people who still want the feel of a SUV, but only wish they had better gas mileage. The Equinox is bridging the gap between full-size SUV?s and compact SUV?s with a hint of a crossover look. If you don?t like it then don?t buy it. Even though GM isn?t at the top when it comes to sells, the New Equinox is a job well done. With its bold look and smooth curves; this vehicles may not say luxury, but it does say style. Especially with its defiant grill that stands out far better than the rest, similar to what one would see on a full-size SUV. But it seems it was just kept small enough to be manageable as a compact, and at the same time give you the space needed as a true SUV, and still have the smooth curves to give it a crossover feel. With its chrome trimming on the exterior and well designed dashed board and comfort in the interior, the 2010 Equinox has just created a league of its own.
