Chrysler 300C SRT Diesel on the way for Europe Comparing BMW, Merc, and Audi build quality and technology to Chrysler 300C SRT8 is silly, you get what you pay for, yes, interior quality isnt the same, economy is bad (but what do you expect with 425hp and 500nm in a single cam pushrod engine) but the price you pay for it more than makes up for it. The thing you can compare is driving experience and thats what matters to me, not the number of valves or the type of leather used or the fit of the panels. ANd dont forget that the 300C is Austrian designed, and mine is built there too, and shares many parts with the previous e-class merc. You get 90% of the quality for less than half the price, in my mind it makes sense. I own an SRT8 300C and it is an amazing car for the money. For comparable horsepower and year model you are looking at more than twice the money in a euro car. That is alot. And for $20,000AU extra i will have a car that will stand up to any M3, M5, AMG or audi S whatever in both handling and power, full upgraded suspension, bracing, coil-overs, with about 700hp and 700nm of torque. Find me a euro car that can compare for the money...
