Project Kahn Reveals Lotus Elise styling package What a terrible job! The side scoops are too boxy (all the other lines of the car are curved) and add drag to a car that is pretty draggy already. What is the point of the little crease under the side scoop? The rear 'wing' is clearly non-functional and probably interferes with the functional rear lip; at best the wing just adds yet more drag. How amazingly stupid it was to put exhaust cans right in the diffuser elements! Between that and the rear lip, they've killed all the rear downforce. They didn't even bother to fill in the hole in the center diffuser element where the exhaust tips normally exit. The front splitter and side skirts look like they might add a bit of downforce, but that puts the car out of balance, since they screwed all the downforce at the rear. And yes, the tires are weak. Pretty nice paint job in a great color, that's the only positive I see.
