If you do few miles/km a year maybe the diesel isn't the right car for you. Just because it is so low emissions and low combined fuel economy doesn't mean it's a green/economic car... I still prefer gasoline cars to diesel cars as far as economics are concerned. Look for the 1.2 TSI equivalent...And see for your self.
