But if you look at sales figures as a wagon, It does really well. In Feb, 371 5GTs were sold in the US. And MB sold 180 wagons. So it all depends on how you look at it. The GT was never designed as a BMW wagon replacement in NA, but it is on par with the E60 wagon in terms of units. Initial objective were too optimistic, some thought it would take the whole E60 wagon base and then pack on more. But that didn't happen, so that's where the "disappointing" news started.

A6/A7/A8 are all missing one important feature - weight balanced. All are 54 to 57 % nose heavy. BMW at their worst is still near perfect, on every model. On a 4,000lbs Audi, that is like having 2 sumo wrestlers sitting over the front axel. It might go fast in the straight, or if you are nice and smooth on a track. But when you start throwing the car around, tossing it, yanking the wheel, the tigher it is, the more obvious that Audi's handling is flawed.

These BMW and Porsche commercials would have been perfect for Super Bowl [videos] These ads don't have what they called in advertising "water cooler" effect. They are not suited for the super bowl spots. Very true and very well made though.
