Nissan Offers Tires & Another Video Against 'Ring Time Accusations

Both Porsche and Nissan are great cars, they have there own style and character, but Porsche has to admit that GT-R is a faster car... Any semi slick car driver can tell the difference if the video of the car is using semi slick or not since you can hear the difference in tyre noise, and obviously they are street tyres, as you can hear the roaring of the tyres reaching it's limit, where semi slick sounds different than that... Also there are two tyre choices to choose from which are specially made for the GT-R i.e. RE070R (summer tyre, bit sticker) and 600 DSST CTT (all season tyre)... These are street legal production tyres for the GT-R, they are close to semi slick compound BUT not the same since treadwear on semi slicks are a lot lower then street tyres (also Porsche too uses Michelin Pilot Sport Cup + tyres which are close to semi slick compound)... Nissan can even have a faster time if they switched to the RE070R but used the 600 DSST CTT as a benchmark for the GT-R instead, letting customers know that even all season tyres can produce good lap times...
Nissan GT-R Club Sport Package from Nismo

don't want to create a debate here but the price does sound a bit reasonable, why? the suspension (not height adjustable, only stiffer dampening and harder springs at 181N/mm(18.5kgf/mm) front and 94N/mm(9.6kgf/mm) rear) is made from Bilstein Damp tronic (including Porsche's Damp tronic) which is already expensive anyway. Rays wheels are never cheap anyway, especially 20 inch (and Fr 1.6kg to Rr 1.4kg lighter than OEM) and any European car owner will realise run flat tyres are going to be more expensive than standard tyres, this comes to a total of 2,205,000 yen (about 14,000 euros). carbon fibre seats at 1,890,000 yen (about 12,000 euros) for a pair of leather Recaro's weighing each at -6kgs lighter than OEM is ok, considering they're about the same price as other Recaro high end seats. exhaust is titanium (5kgs lighter than OEM) and any titanium product don't come cheap too, especially when it includes carbon fibre rear defuser to accompany it which again costs 1,890,000 yen (about 12,000 euros). warranty is 3 years or 60,000km which is great only if you're in japan... so if you break down the prices then it's sounds okay... btw, I round the prices up to the nearest thousand so it adds up even more than 35k euros
