Brazilian report suspects Button attack 'hoax'
November 16, 2010
Look, sure there aren't any pictures of the cars left after the accident but you decided to say the story was fraudulent by making up your own fraudulent story. You claimed Mr. Button was a fraud who conjured up a hoax from thin air. What you suggested is a busy, wealthy professional F1 driver went out of his way during a GrandPrix weekend to hire an armoured car, plan an attempted robbery/kidnapping in cahoots with his specialist police chauffeur? Or did he hire the chauffeur too?
Yes, robberies happen all over the world but doesn't it tell you something about the situation that in Australia Hamilton drove away from the circuit on his own and in Brazil Button had to be in an armoured car? Or that Sauber engineers were robbed, journalists robbed, di Grassi reported being mugged. Even if there are no pictures, who's going to blame anyone with sense for believing the Button report?
You just crafted your own story about Button being a fraud staging an incident regardless of all the other attacks that at least hold up the Button argument? Do that if you want but those are the sort of thoughts one keeps to oneself rather than pass off as intelligent conclusions. If the story is proved a hoax, then come on here, spit your dummy and berate Jenson. Otherwise you'll get more respect if you remain silent.

You're a clever fellow Sherlock.
But don't forget to explain the Sauber engineers held up and robbed at gunpoint and the journalists who reported having their awfully expensive kit stolen too.
Remember, a good detective can't have holes in his explanation.
F1 world lashes out at crash-gate leniency
September 22, 2009
The media are not stirring anything they are just saying what clearly needs to be said. BAR never recovered from their punishment in '05. McLaren was fined $100 million dollars for spy-gate, a punishment unprecedented in all sport. That's simply a massive sum of money to lose. And Renault, who not only cheated but endangered the lives of racers and fans, have gotten off with a mere slap on the wrist. There is no fairness or justice in that.
However, I would have meted out the same punishment. This is no time to lose an important team because of the idiocy of one incompetent racer, one competent engineer and one unrepentant figurehead. The damage has already been done to F1. Either way it cannot, should not go unsaid that given Renault's own spy-gate affair and now Singapore scandal, McLaren have every right to feel very hard done by.

Rebranding from PAS to PIG would cost far too much money.
I was thinking they could just replace a letter. No longer the BMW PAS but the all new BMW POS.
