I can't promise and I don't see how I will warm up to electric cars. What I meant by direct is that the car converts fuel into energy rather than a power plant converting coal, nuclear fuel, water motion, or wind into energy for the eventual storage in batteries. I just wish there was another way other than electric and as a fan of the idea that anything is possible, I can't help but think that a battery powered car is the easy way out for less than inventive engineers. Algae fuel was a good idea and an honest effort in my opinion.

The question is, is electricity the way forward or should focus be spent on other methods of providing energy to power a car? In modern times, not to insult Porsche, electricity is the easy way out for lazy engineers. History has proven it to be inferior to combustion but it's still being shoved down our throats as of about a decade ago.
