If chevy wants to use a pushrod engine let them these engines have proved to be great on the C5R and C6R and have won multiple championships at Lamans. Chevy has tried using a more "advance" engine with the last zr1 but went back to the pushrod. Ls based egines are light and powerfull and very realiable i have one in my car and never gave me a problems.
