Jaguar XJ estate

In my last visit to Paris, I spotted this 1997-2003 (X308) Jaguar XJ estate version. I didn?t know the existence of this variant version, and after searching on internet I didn?t find anything. Is this some kind of special edition or maby a specia ...
more l petition to some coachbulder? Does anyone know what is this? The curious thing is this car is left hand drive while the plates are british (registered in 1999).

could it be an ufo in disguise? a few rear pictures would have helped a lot. anyway - an Avon-Coachwork (or whatever its name is nowadays) conversion?
