Deposed world champion Kimi Raikkonen has spent much of the time since the last race of 2008 in his native Finland.

Reports from the Nordic country reveal the 29-year-old is in Helsinki, Finland's capital which is a short distance from Raikkonen's birthplace of Espoo.

He was photographed training with a local ice-hockey team, with whom he is friends with some of the players.

The tabloid Iltalehti said that, while in Helsinki, Raikkonen has also organised to sell one of his three houses near the Finnish city.

The eight-bedroom house on the exclusive island suburb of Kaskisaari was reportedly put on the market by Raikkonen, who lives mainly in Switzerland, for 14.5 million euros.

According to the newspaper, some foreign embassies have expressed interest in the property.

hmm, I dislike the artsy cube style houses. They seem to try to hard and fail even harder since rain doesn't naturally poor off their roof's. And in my part of the world, snow.

i think you'll find that the roof has a pitch to it... how else do you expect water to drain? you think the architect just neglected to think of the effects rain? wow... use your head please! that steel custom orb used on that structure according to building code has to have a pitch of at least 1 degree, a parapet wall would be built around the rest of the roof giving the illusion of a complete box structure...

Rain like any other thing is pulled towards the centre of the earth by gravity. That roof will dispatch of rain easily but would struggle with snow but then again isn't this part of the world snowy? if it is then snow must have been considered at design level.

Looks like a steel roof, probably some kind of non stick coating, and hot water piping under the roof, who knows, im sure the fins figured it out.
