The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, also known as baby Godzilla, is adding more exclusivity to its line-up by introducing the GSR Premium Edition to the Japanese market. This edition is placed above RS and GSR models and is priced at 4,798,500 Yen (USD48,250) for the 5-speed manual gearbox version and 5,050,000 Yen (USD50,785) for its Twin Clutch-SST brother.

No different mechanically from other Evo X models, the car does bring a few nice extras to its owners, like front fog lamps, 18-inch BBS alloy wheels, body coloured hood and fender scoops. There’s also Bilstein shocks to further enhance an already exemplary handler. ICE is supplied by Mitsu long-time partner by the name of Rockford Fosgate, in the form of nine speakers and an integrated sat nav system.

Come on!!! This thing is supposed to be about roll up windows and optional ac or cd player to shave off the extra fat. Its not about sat nav and 9 heavy speakers. Atleast they improved the rims and suspension.

Come on it is a hot car but not a hardcore track car. IMO this extra comfort options not bad idea for everyday using.

Thanks bro. All I was saying is that the lancer has picked up too much weight, and the GSR is supposed to be lighter weight and better performance. This only accomplishes the handeling part which can be off set a little by the extra weight. Cars are suppose to get faster and refined as they evolve ("evo"). This was just refined.
