Same Jaguar XF-R Spied Again in Death Valley
The testing regime for the Jaguar XF-R is ongoing and we have the latest photos of the same silver prototype previously caught wandering the American southwest.
Powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 producing 500+ hp and riding on unique 20-inch alloy wheels, Jaguar isn't doing too much to hide the air vents on the hood, large bumper air intakes, a discreet boot spoiler and quad exhaust.
After a no-show at BIMS, we're expecting an official debut early next year in Detroit. However, Los Angeles auto show next month could be an appropriate venue to makes its debut.

It always makes me laugh when test vehicles appear with tape over the wheel centres ... like that is such a great disguise nobody will then be able to recognise the car ... WTF are they thinking lol

Looking like a Hyundai isn't really bad anymore, Hyundai has more attractive cars than most car companies now a days. Take Acura for instance and their fleet of thingy's...

Can you imagine a old F@rt racing down the highway in one of these!!! On his way to a hunting trip. Jolly good show old Chap, what!!! Jaguar is trying hard to penetrate the "younger" market with this baby. It's always had that old "British Aristocratic" stigma. British pride and all that rot!!!

Finally Jaguar is going to put the right engine. When Jaguar was owned by Ford, and Ford had also an Aston Martin, they couldn't give a Jaguar real power because of the Aston. Simply Jaguars weren't able to be faster and stronger than Astons. Now Jaguar can produce models which will compete with Astons. Can wait for the 500+hp XK or XJ. The present owner of Jaguar should make some more special series of Jag's, like Porsche or Lamborghini do with their models. XKR Lightweight or XJR-S or something
