Earlier this week further details of Aston Martin's £1million one-77 supercar surfaced after a sales document found its way to the internet, something that has done nothing but drum up additional excitement towards the model. So much so that we can't wait for it to hit the motorshow circus. Obviously today's Paris Motor Show has come way too soon for us to be able to see the model in its full glory, but the British marque had nothing else going on, so they brought along a veil covered prototype to give the media an early peak at its styling. It also makes up for the disappointment of Aston Martin's failure to bring along a production ready version of the Rapide four-door coupe.

how about you replace the sheet, Already it looks horrible. What the hell is that groove throught the headlight. Looks to me Aston is joining Lamborghini as competition for the worst looking car show prize at this year paris auto show.

yeah what the hell is that groove? can't believe that rendering looks better than the actual car.

by Decypha | October 2, 2008 8:10 PM
and the reason the grooves are there because it is for the gap, the front tires cooling purpose.

by anonymous | October 2, 2008 8:11 PM
ok so we figured out that the groove obviously has a purpose, but why on earth have it through the headlight. makes not sense for the purpose of been areodynamic.

one glance to know its wider and lower, having a extended kit attached to the body? lol. at least they should smooth out the edges.

aston martin mixed with concept corvette?

by Joe_Limon | October 2, 2008 9:24 PM
1 milion pounds for that!

by mmr66 | October 2, 2008 9:27 PM
The large side vent is a new trend so get used to it for a while (citroen, corvette, this, concept sketches)...hope this won't look bad tho because there is a lot of detail missing that the head light will provide. Look for cool lighting effects by the crease

by foose1397 | October 2, 2008 9:44 PM
definitely. especially if you are paying a cool million pounds your aston martin better look different from the pedestrian DBS's around your hood.

wait until it shows up in $20k cars and this will be old design.

I would've dared someone to fully open the cloth covering, covering this car.

Is this just a concept? I hope so, the groove looks wrong, I dont think those are the headlights?

WTF more than a veyron for a Mansory DB9...

by radmeister | October 3, 2008 5:04 AM
i got a feeling it'll turn out exactly like the previous rendering.

by anonymous | October 3, 2008 6:14 AM
I sort of like it...

*hides*

What the H is with the crack in the bumper!? When Aston Martin designers go "trendy", things don't look good...

by ShinyG | October 3, 2008 8:15 AM
Wtf. And people are saying "oh that's just the new trend." They could have put the groove there without it going through the frikkin headlight. And the grille is too big.
