Mitsubishi has announced its line-up for the Paris Motor Show next month, first up will be the unveiling of the Sportback version of the Lancer, it will be joined by the Racing Lancer but the big talking point is a mystery third world debut.

The Japanese manufacturer has released a teaser image which we have lightened a little to reveal as much as possible. It follows the signature design of the Mitsubishi line-up, leaving little to analyse.

We already know they are working on an Evo X MR which is a top spec version of its 10th generation model, however the re-shaped headlights throws this possibility out the window. We recently reported that Mitsubishi have confirmed they are to introduce a baby SUV to the market based on the Concept-cX and if we were to bet our house away, this is where our money would lie.

The five-door Lancer Sportback joining the mystery model was previewed earlier this year in the form of the Prototype S Concept Car at the the Geneva Motor Show.

One thing is for certain, it's already droopy looking.

What you're croatian? Anyway, bad idea putting that front on that crap.

Either a production concept-CX or European Eclipse.

From that link dandruff posted it would seem like a facelifted colt. THEY NEED TO FACELIFT, NIPTUCK, OVERHAUL OR WHATEVER NEEDS TO BE DONE TO MAKE A GOOD GALANT SEDAN HERE IN THE U.S., Hyundai has a better rep than Mitsu for family sedans and that is bad for Mitsu since they've been at it longer.

At first I thought about the new Colt. Now I agree: it might be a Colt-Facelift. Other then: the pics were released by AutoBild in Germany and that has nothing to say about the correctness

Looks like the new Colt.

I am expecting the Galant or the Diamante that once rule the streets in the State of California...

It could be this :

Whatever model it is, there's no denying the strong Evo X design cue from the grille downwards including the headlights. I think the Prototype S hatch is bang on in terms of interior design and will outclass the Subaru version. Quite why the Eclipse isn't officially in the UK market is beyond me!
