Lambo Reventon Replica anyone?

Polish company Veno Automotive have set out to create Poland's first supercar. They claim this is a unique car that wouldn't look out of place in Batman's garage, but the true reality of the model is that it is a KNOCKOFF. Do you really need me identify which model it reminds me of?

The chassis has been designed to handle power of up to 1000hp and lightweight material such as carbon fibre and aluminum will be used for the model's panels and components to keep the overall dry weight down to a minimum. Few Driving aids will be found in the model maximising the driving experience, it will feature ABS but there is no mention of traction control.

In keeping with it's knockoff theme, the Veno supercar will source it's engines through Audi, three versions of the 4.2-liter V8 power unit will be available ranging 350hp up to 700hp. From 2009, Vento also claims they will begin to use the array of engines available for the Corvette C6 including the Z1’s LS9 6.2-liter supercharged V8.

A production of 50 units is planned for the model which will be available in both coupe and roadster body styles, an annual capacity of around 10 -12 models is already achievable. We don't actually believe this will realistically ever get that far at this point but we aren't about to knock them for trying.

You know im one of the only fans of the Reventons Aerodynamic design and as such i HATE this. Get your own damn design instead of ripping off the hardwork of the boys who made the initial one. The Reventon is the kind of car you never think anyone would be stupid enough to copy and yet...someone is in fact. Pathetic.

its a knockoff , alright ... but an artistically - inspired one . closely observe the first three thumbnails and you would know what i mean .

by THERENAISSANCEMAN | August 15, 2008 8:22 PM
make that four , including the car's quarter rear perspective .

by THERENAISSANCEMAN | August 15, 2008 8:27 PM
incidentally , Xanavi23 , you might also want to take a hard look at the Maserati MC12 aka Ferarri F50 . it's a certifiable ripoff material generated from the mind of one pathetic Frank Stephenson ... up and coming McLaren executive design director .

by THERENAISSANCEMAN | August 15, 2008 8:39 PM
Ive taken a look at the MC12 and in truth i like it far more than the Enzo...while the internals of the MC12 are mostly an Enzo, at the very LEAST the MC12 looks like quite a different beast alltogether. Also its quite clear especially if you watch Top Gear that the MC12 even drives like a different beast altogether. Where as this rip-off looks far too much like the Reventon, rip-off.

by Xanavi23 | August 15, 2008 10:22 PM
Most importantly, you forgot the association between Ferrari and Maserati. Secondly, the MC12 is built on the Enzo's platform. Duh

Hmm, what's the Polish word for bat? On the contrary, if you were to ask the Chinese, they'll say it's entirely original.

Hahahaha...good one!

by schizo0223 | August 19, 2008 7:16 AM
zr1* not z1. It is a hardcore rip off. Thank god it isn't American or Japanese. That being said, those are some sketchy renders, and I will withhold my judgement till I see an actual car.

being very diplomatic!! :D

by sris | August 15, 2008 9:07 PM
ooooh!! :P

I am surprised they wouldn't knock off the Vector car designs. Those cars were ahead of their time.

Strange is that on bottom of these 3D pictures written in clear Polish "All rights reserved by Veno Automotives" but should be "Tutti dritti riservati, Automobili Lamborgini S.p.A. Italia

by alessandro | August 15, 2008 9:32 PM
What from they took these rights? Poor work also with lack of basic design skills and knowledge to start just professionally from own design language and it means - from scratch.

by alessandro | August 15, 2008 9:46 PM
i think it will out sell the reventon ;-)

by mmr66 | August 15, 2008 10:09 PM
looks like an R8

by Joe_Limon | August 15, 2008 11:10 PM
haha I'm from Poland and I'm ashamed that such a rip off was made in my country! Im not so sure if they're ever going to produce that car. This could be great car but with that stolen design I hate it!

polish word for bat is 'nietoperz' and you spell it like 'netopesh' ^^

by kimbo | August 15, 2008 11:34 PM
i am from Poland as well, and I am also soo embarased by this. I've already heard some time ago the news that some polish company will build a supercar, and I've said, hey, that sounds great, first true supercar from my country! And then I saw the renderings/sketches...It's a total ripoff! Still taking into account the limited production of the Reventon I guess this car may gain it's popularity, as it resembles it closely for a far smaller price.

Not only it is a Reventon knockoff, but it also takes alot of parts from the Murcielago LP640, notice the interior, the wheels in the first pic, the engine bay cover and design is a rip off the LP640 Roadster, you can even see the cooling intake on the side (next to the rear wheel) that the LP640 uses. I hope Lamborghini sues them for this.

by Murcielago2006 | August 16, 2008 12:23 AM
I think it's much better looking than the Reventon. It smoothes out some issues I had with the very abstractness of the Reventon, but that gives no right for this company to copy the hard work of others, and to lie and squirm their way out of it by claiming that it's 'original'. I will laugh when Lamborghini sue's the company's ass. Seriously, get your own damn design f@ggots.

by RS5 | August 16, 2008 12:34 AM
Renaissance, the reason the Maserati MC12 looks like the Enzo is because... dun dun dun... same people.

by Xenicide | August 16, 2008 1:39 AM
i get it , Enzo and the Maserati Brothers all went to bed together at one time , dun dun dunnnnn.... which would explain their DNAs got mixed altogether

by THERENAISSANCEMAN | August 16, 2008 10:46 PM
geez who would want one of these... if you get one u r just sad...

by BabyMilo | August 16, 2008 2:32 AM
jojo trade mark laws please....this its jus a tunning copy and mabye if its from poland its bad made XD

by _M7_ | August 16, 2008 3:22 AM
I hope it'll be A LOT cheaper than the Reventon ;D A poor man's Lamborghini, sounds good enough for me. It's weird if Audi is really going to give these folks their engines, since they copied Audi's car design ;o

by Kepe | August 16, 2008 3:53 AM
it just looks like a reventon has gotten old and wrinkled...

by Lucifa | August 16, 2008 6:14 AM
I want to know... cant lambo sue them for copyright breaches?

by The_woo_factor | August 16, 2008 6:19 AM
Any lawyers here? Please tell me they cant do this...

by The_woo_factor | August 16, 2008 6:21 AM
yeahh plz do...

by BabyMilo | August 16, 2008 7:32 AM
dont think they can sue em. their boss' supply these guys the engines. but then again i dont think this car will see the light of the day.

by michelin901 | August 16, 2008 8:53 AM
if the engine was a camry engine and it cost 20,000 $ it is worth it

by nendor | August 16, 2008 8:50 AM
they can say: we made our own interpretation of a Murcielago-design. and then it's great!

by xlumino | August 16, 2008 4:19 PM
Bringing Enzo and MC 12 to this topic is baseless, as it is a widely accepted fact that MC12 is an Enzo with more power and less topspeed. Well, the guys from Poland who made this car should have had their own identity, because by copying they are no different from some Chinese car manufacturer. Even China has its own design these days.

by ocean_drift | August 17, 2008 5:43 PM
an Enzo sporting a Maserati badge ? explain that ! there is nothing more to this Enzorati excercise than a high-level mutual highway robbery . . . all pun intended

by THERENAISSANCEMAN | August 20, 2008 8:33 PM
They are bold enough to even dare to use the engine from the same company as the Lambo...just plain bold and silly. I think this is some kids idea of a joke because there is no way that this will see the light of day.

by schizo0223 | August 19, 2008 7:21 AM
amusing ... everyone here bashing China/Poland for design copyright infringement but no one makes a quack at how VW duplicated BMW Nazca's front elevation and incorporated it into the Bugatti Veyron's . a veritable in-your-face face-off for sure.
