Kahn Design owner Afzal Kahn whom you may remember has little too much money to burn is hell bent on putting the Brits back to the forefront of the automotive industry. He recently announced their collaboration with engine tuning firm Cosworth which will combine the design strengths of Kahn with the engineering of Cosworth to create “truly sensational” automobiles. The first project of the partnership was originally announced with a teaser image which did little to sensationalize the potential of the partnership, but now the full details and images have been released we see ourselves slowly warming up to the idea.

The aggressive styling package featuring a road hugging body kit with a low riding front spoiler, flared arches and a large rear spoiler capped off with 22 inch lightweight alloy wheels. The interior gets a custom made perforated leather upholstery.

Cosworth got to work on the TDV8 engine from the Range Rover Sport bumping power output up to 300bhp from 268bhp which now enables the model to accelerate from 0-62mph in under 8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 135mph.

Pricing is yet to be officially announce but it is expected to cost around £75,000 – a £20,000 premium over the regular Range Rover Sport model.

Perfect example what not to do when tuning your range rover.

Yes its alot of money for Something you cant really off road , I would opt for a BOWLER DAKAR.

It may just be me but it seems their new models don't look like the type you want to off road and let allow be able to handle off roading, unlike the earlier model early 90's or so.

SAme goes for Hummer, they seem to shy away from encouraging offroading, now maybe if they decided to produce the h4 (concept), maybe then we can beat it up a bit in the dirt.

Seems strange , the old range rover was the first to do the Camel trophy , i really couldnt see a farmer buying this even if he does own a county or 2 !

One day Land rover TATA might make a vehicle thats actually reliable and wont stop when it gets wet .

GoldFinger, I seriously doubt, TATA will make any car that will be reliable as some of the European competitors. With all the spending they have been doing to buying the different brands and not with the high prices for Oil, they probably don't have enough to pay their engineers enough money to pay attention the reliability factor. Let allow come out with good designs.

Oh I agree dmanero .Thats why i said Might :)

But let's face it: it wouldn't be hard to beat Land Rover's reliability history.

This is not a truly sensational automobile. It's not even theoretically sensational. I would describe it as... about as pleasing as a blender stapled to your dash. Useful? Arguably. Pretty? LOL! Gosh, no.

Looks great, but it's quiet senceless for an offroader and maybe to overdressed for an understate-RangeRover
