M Version of BMW X6 Spotted?

Unless our eyes deceive us

Unless we are very much mistaken, that is a BMW X6 prototype featuring some classic M Division styling. It has been well documented that BMW will not badge any of its X-series cars will “M”, so shall we call this the BMW X6 Power Junky Special Edition in the meantime? Ok, so maybe X6 M is easier?

The biggest give-away on this vehicle is the quad exhaust pipes poking out the rear end of the vehicle and that certainly looks like a more aggressive stance hiding beneath the rather useless black clad camoflage. When we head over to the front we find the larger air intakes on the front fascia and we suspect another air outlet is hidden under that camoflaged area we see just above the fenders.

Any way we look at it, we can now confirm a new top-spec version of the X6 is coming and we suspect it is going to be powered by a tuned version of the 4.4-liter V8 engine, the same power unit that the new high-spec X5 is set to receive. There are also rumours of the M5's 507hp V10 engine making its way to the X-series

Whooa!!! Speechless... Approximately 2 tons of pure muscle - imagine the momentum at top speed - sh!t this is damn good insanity.

As if it couldn't get any heavier or more expensive. I think this is taking niche marketing a bit too far. I like the concept of it and the execution was pretty good, but seriously BMW?

I cant wait for the X5 to get the turbo V8 and torque-vectoring Xdrive. Just thinking about it makes me wanna go get in some more debt!

Sledge Hammer, no no no no... Hurricane X6. The waiting for this car will really be nail biting, oh my word - BMW i say has just opened up yet another door for the competitors to respond and this will make it so much better than the M3, C63 AMg and RS4 rivalry. This is going to be a monstrous niche. Giangantic muscles hammering away into the distance. This is the Hercules vs Samson the Goliath ultimate grade. I can't wait for Merc and Audi to respond i hope soon. It's time to see something different, new angle, new goose bumps and a new thrill. Oh yes.

We are missing the point. Big SUV's are not suited for fast paced "racing" because of their massive mass. I really support the BMW as a driver's machine, but only when talking about the 3/M3 5/m5 6/m6 series.

Agree with Mili....I also much prefer the X5 in terms of styling

That car is ugly on photos, but in real its much worse... Surely one of the worst designed BMW cars ever...

Jesus Christ this thing is gonna be fast. I dont know about you guys but ive seen X6s...they're very nice "sport-trucks" or wtv you choose to call. The M versus a Cayenne Turbo would be a great match-up, oh annd throw in a ML63 AMG in the mix.

"Just because you can" doesn't even explain this.

Looks like Megane 1 out of humanly normal proportions. I asked once from a Bavarian guy: why just beer you drink so much. He answered: "Because we can". Very Irish.
