Porsche has already revealed the 997 facelift for the first half of the 911 range which include the Carrera variants and Carrera 4 variants. Also unofficial photos of the yet to be released Targa variants were taken recently at a media event in Spain, but we have to wait a few more months to see the Turbo models.

Last time we saw a 997 Turbo facelift prototype, which was wearing no disguise, was back in February during cold weather testing. Now photos of Turbo Cabriolet have surfaced again, and its showing the same upgrades as the Coupe - bigger front bumper air intakes, redesigned rear bumper's exhaust outlets and air vents and the already familiar 997 family facelift upgrades such as LED daytime driving lamps and tail lights.

But just like the base models, the Turbo facelift is more than just exterior restyling. Engine is upgraded to direct injection for an extra 20 to 30 hp, boosting it over the notorious 500hp mark. Despite the increase in power, the efficiency of the direction injection system will allow for 10 to 15% less fuel consumption.

I agree with BabyMilo although i still love the 993 as well as all models of 911. The rear of this car where the top is stored(when down) still looks a bit hunchy, but i cant blame Porsche for that. The engine is back there too so space is limited. That being said this is nicest Porsch 911 Convertible yet. Love the 997, with the Porsche Dopple Kuplung, it should be a very fast car.

i agree, i think this facelift looks great! and i can't wait to see the Turbos performance. you know they could easily make this thing 550 hp. the last engine only took miner tweeks to get to the gt2 530hp with the new engine, direct injection and pdk this should be fast.

Now all we need is Nissan GT-R convertible(which has probably been toyed with) so GT-R fan boys can start calling this Turbo crap too lol. **Disclaimer** Xanavo23 loves the GT-R, his name is rooted from a Nissan Super GT race car, however he doesn't like the fan boys who talk about the car. Thank You**
