You may remember earlier this year we reported on a quite impressive work by a British Limousine company with the creation of a stretched Ferrari 360 Modena. The model was cut in half and stretched with an additional 3 meter compartment made of carbon fibre and can now seat up to 6 people in the rear compartment.  Despite the extra weight it is still capable of speeds up to 166mph.

Ferrari of course was less than impressed, and considered this frankenstein vehicle no longer worthy of their brand. They quickly pressed ahead with legal action against the limousine firm for infringing their trademark. Perhaps this has proved to be a bridge too far as the stretched 360 Modena can now be found on ebay for $250,000, and with it we get to see more pictures of the interior and exterior in detail.

I still remember the court case mentioned here few months ago! I think that Ferrari took it a bit too far - and the owner of the car purchased it and has the authority to do whatever with it. This limo should be fun for some people =)

I would have to aggree, but then the owner should have removed an badge and ferrari logos. Now if the owner didn't advertise this 'car' a a ferrari, Ferrari wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Ferrari had full right to sue. think about their image they are upholding. now if the owner drove this car with people inside and the driveshaft failed or the engine explodes of too my stress and they crashed, it's going to look bad on Ferrari. So right on Ferrari. You fight this one and cause any guy who does this horrible work to a beautiful car like this should be sued to a point that he can not even sopport himself.

Damn! Bride looks comfy! So much for drinking bubbly and gettin's some on these ideal seats! WTF?

by LOLOM5 | July 3, 2008 6:01 PM
The 2nd picture with the bride sitting in the 2nd row, reminds me of roller-coaster. This is not a car anymore. sadly,... :(

by kenta | July 3, 2008 7:16 PM
i was thinking roller coaster too lol... not a limo whatsoever. i rather have the "sectional" type seating we find in normal limos lol... this is just an abomination to ferrari's and limo's everywhere haha. if it had normal limo seating, then i'd be down.

What a waste of a good car!!

by mortz | July 4, 2008 4:53 AM
I'd love to see this thing go over a speedbump. And I'd buy it just to shorten it back again, but then you could always get a used 360 for about half the price.

by samuelzeus | July 4, 2008 11:08 AM
dmanero, you see there is no any 360. 360 is a Ferrari. This one is an R8, like rest of it.

by alessandro | July 5, 2008 9:28 PM
Looks like an audi r8.

by PotatoEater | July 4, 2008 1:53 PM
PatatoEater, At first I wasn't going to comment, but m,an are you blind. there is absolutly no resemblence to the R8 in this 360.

by dmanero | July 4, 2008 3:10 PM
dmanero you surely can't see. It looks exactly like an Audi R8.

by mps | July 4, 2008 8:58 PM
Yea dmanero, are you blind? It's clearly an R8.
