As a golfer takes a swing, little did he know how much attention this moment was about to receive. We of course don't care about the golfer, but instead that teaser poster lurking behind him of the new BMW 7 series. The good news from this teaser image are the evil eyes of the CS concept will make it into the production 7-Series as you can see in our comparison above.

The new model is set to be introduced next week in Red Square, Moscow, according to Drive.ru, BMW are taking a pretty corny route if rumours are correct with the expected release of the 7-series on the 7th day of the 7th month – probably at 7pm as well. As you would expect, WCF will be on the ball as soon as the first details surface, so keep an eye out. In the meantime, check out the images on the right of a nearly undisguised prototype.

can't wait!

The look will be handsome I'm sure. But I wonder how it will compare to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, driving-wise.

by autoque | July 1, 2008 2:54 PM
Will probably be better.

by mps | July 1, 2008 3:16 PM
in a driver's point of view, definitely

by boyke69 | July 1, 2008 4:38 PM
yeah horribly miss proportionate front kidneys....horrid...

I've never found BMW's to be particularly good looking, although they do exemplify good design techniques. I wouldn't say that the CS Concept was good looking because it looks like too much of a shark to me, although it was well designed. I hope that this Seven series is much better than the monstrority we see on the roads right now.

Here we go: 3* "grill-party" from 80-s

by alessandro | July 1, 2008 4:03 PM
Is it still a Chris Bunghole creation ?

by BlueBiturbo | July 1, 2008 4:41 PM
To be honest I don't' think those teaser imares are actually from the new 7 series, (as shown in the test mules pics), for me this is all about an all new series, or the revival of the 8 series in the form of a 4 door coupe.I can't really see this front end on the 7 series mule, so thats my 2c.

by bernardo | July 1, 2008 4:49 PM
Oh crap just realized that is writen on the picture "all new 7 series"..thats not a good thing IMHO..the back end of the CS concept was definetely the best part of the car..and It wont made to the 7 series judging by the test mule..not even close to it..

by bernardo | July 1, 2008 4:52 PM
The anticipation exicites me but the again i am quite scepitcal on those head light 'brows'. Has BMW also added led's in the rings? looks like it.

Rather wait and see but one thing that these guys never fail is to make a car that really drives well. On cosmetics Bangle jambles it up on most occassions than not - however he is beginning to perfect his design and most will take ideas from his trials.

WOW, looks great. Love the new light rings. I just saw an interior pic and it looks Audi good! This should be a great car. As solid as the W221 S-class performs, dynamically, this will probably drive circles around it.

by benz_man | July 1, 2008 6:02 PM
it is only front of the car, but it looks much better than I thought it would. Can't wait to see it!

by kimbo | July 1, 2008 8:21 PM
wow, corona ring now with LED's

by st_efano | July 1, 2008 8:34 PM
What large kidneys you have....

by Tuner_Mad | July 1, 2008 8:44 PM
7th day of the 7th month.. are the guys from bmw religious? anyhow, finally... die panzer is coming out.

by norther | July 1, 2008 9:48 PM
I really can't wait to see this car, I wanna see if BMW succeeded this time.

I have to agree with greenace, this will be epic. Now, I think this will be no S-class (just like the C class will be no 3 series.) but this will be big, I cant wait, maybe this car was desgined in secret from Chris Bagle.

by wjaprep | July 1, 2008 10:35 PM
does the c class have the eyelid on its front lights as well??

by moko | July 2, 2008 12:00 AM
Ha, I was just thinking that...

by wjaprep | July 2, 2008 10:52 PM
adn I dont think the 7 series will be all that different from the current one, it will look good but not a thing close to the hype pertaining to it resemblance with the Cs concept...Look at the mule and look at the Cs but who knows??

by moko | July 2, 2008 12:03 AM
If it "ends" up having bangle-butt who cares if the rest of the car is less hideous.

by V6s_stink | July 2, 2008 5:23 AM
Well they sure targeted their ad really good, golfers and other people with a higher income will definetely be the ones buying this car

by Andrey | July 2, 2008 3:47 PM
GOLFERS AND OTHER PEOPLE WITH HIGHER INCOME.....I agree, hence that car seems to be an IQ test, Congrats! No more comments needed.

I really don't know what a hell is so special about this car?????? If this "new guy" is new 7 series, than BMW should seriosly ask themselves what a f... is this??? This kind of front end is much appropriate for some sport car or coupe or something like that...
