Toyota IQ Spy Photos
From concept form in September 2007 to production form in March 2008, the Toyota iQ has been moving at a quick pace. Production starts at the end of this year with market launches beginning in early 2009. The 3+1 (child) layout micro car with 50/50 split folding rear seats gives a swift square kick in the groin to the smart fortwo. Not only is there enough space for 3 adults and a small third occupant, but the overall design with its cute compactness and wheels pushed to the corners makes the fortwo look like a phone booth.
Designed to meet Japanese manufacturer emissions standards of 140g/km of CO2 by 2009, the iQ will greatly surpass that with only 100g/km. Fuel efficiency figures are unknown at this time but 100,000 units are planned to be produced worldwide in its first year.
The production IQ made its debut at Geneva earlier this year: http://www.worldcarfans.com/9080304.062/toyota-iq-production-version-unveiled-at-geneva More or less thats how the final IQ will look like.

if this car is priced cheaply it will b a big hit
I wonder how much it will weigh judging by all current Toyotas it will be fairly lardy.1050kgs maybe.
Doesn't look like you can fit two adults in the back. Maybe they meant two adult midgets...

Though the camoflage maybe to blame, it doesn't look as funky as the Smart, the interior looks dull too.
