After the first images surfaced of the cars of Death Race comes the first official trailer which shows hollywood star Jason Statham at his butt-kicking best. We won't spoil it for you, but it has certainly enhanced our expectations for the movie, lets hope it isn't another over-hyped action movie.
Driving a heavily armoured Mustang Jensen Ames (Statham) who is currently in jail for killing his wife is forced to race in popular race which boasts higher television audiences than the superbowl by the notorious prison warden (Joan Allen). There is only one rule for the race – there are no rules, the winner gets his freedom whilst the rest of the contenders get plenty of rest bite six-feet under.
Death Race will be released worldwide later this summer.
