Lambo Reventon Flies Over Turin by Military Helicopter
Filed Under: Lamborghini
Lamborghini today held a press conference entitled ”Lamborghini and speed – a project in record time” as part of the “Turin 2008 – World Design Capital” programme of events. In spectacular fashion, Lamborghini had the Marina Militare Italiana (the Italian marines) air lift a Reventon supercar over the city of Turin by military helicopter and land it on the rooftop of the Lingotto building, thus, closing the conference. With local, international and academic VIPs including representatives from the automotive industry in attendance, the purpose of the conference was to explore the extraordinary timescales, design and production abilities demonstrated in producing the 1 million Euro Reventon supercar, of which all 20 units have been sold worldwide.
I think it doesn't need to. The GT-R is probably more popular anyway. I wonder how fast the Reventon is around the Nürburgring?
lol well said AG4
GTR is not competing against reventon .. soo why even make such a comment? its two very different cars with different purpose.. yes they both go fast ... but the reventon is a collectors car and a design experiment really...
exactly. its sad how pretty much any sports car that gets released gets immediately compared to the gt-r, even if it totally different.
yeahh exactly the gt-r doesnt cover every sports car sector... nd the Reventon is in a different sector to the gt-r
that right the lambo its a nice car, very good looking and powerfull but the nissan its a pice of engeeniering...remember the Lambo its made just for Audi heavy cars not too smart engeneering
Audi doesn't have smart engineering? Its hard to believe that when it comes from someone who didn't spell engineering correctly.
AUDI DOES'NT HAVE SMART ENGINEERING??? That's news to me!!!
gt-r = track car and, in a few years, boy racer. reventon = perfect showoffs car, the sort of thing made just to impress the world.
I would never try to even test this lambo on the track. Arent there only like 25 in the world. I wouldn't want anythng to happen to one like the R8......

Too bad GT-R will never see this kinda respect.
