Volkswagen and Porsche are on the verge of merging but Volkswagen Sweden is not going to wait for the ink to dry, or for the signatures to be signed for that matter, to release their first VW-Porsche special edition.

The Swedish Volkswagen office have merged the popular VW Caddy practicality with Porsche Carrera style and the result is this limited edition (only 250 units!) called the Volkswagen Caddy Carrera Cup Edition 2.0TDI R and should set you back just Euro 22,000 or roughly 205,00 Skr.

So what do you get for your money, how about a 2.0 TDI engine with 140 hp with 320 Nm of torque, black 17 inch alloy wheels (225/45 R17), a new body kit with plenty of stickers, sport seats in two-tone leather, leather steering wheel (with Carrera symbol) and shifter and to top things of a fire extinguisher.

I think it looks nice, but I'd hate to have the 140 hp Diesel in it.

Why not something a bit more punchy? The put a fricken 224 bhp rated 2.0 litre engine in that A3 Clubsport Concept. The could have gone with at least 170 hp from the 2.0.

But sharp looks anyway.

love the look of this van but totally agree with you ceven, you could buy the standard 20.tdi 140 that has just come out and kit it out and have it tweaked up to about 200 bhp for less than the cost of this looker in drag
