The red A7 rendering is a seriously sexy version of the Audi face ... fingers crossed the actual production version looks like that.

No information about the R4? :(

by FastLane | May 29, 2008 5:20 PM
The R4 won't happen at all, because porsche doesn't' wants It.

The 1.6 TDI was destined to be 105 PS but this document shows it as 90 PS which is very very low compared to competition. Lets hope they upgrade it properly (at least for A3).

Another interesting point: BMW is spreading the usage of twin sequential turbos in its diesels and gas engines. I would expect Audi to counteract but as it seems (if this document is the final say in this business then) we won't see competitive rivals to the 123d, 535d, 335d for the foreseeable future.

On gasoline side, the new S4 engine will be highly competitive against the 335i. Let's see how they perform...

I also expect Audi to introduce the TT Clubsport 2.0 TFSI engine with 300 PS into the A4. They would be better off introducing a new DTM edition with it. What a cool car would that be!

can anybody tell me what will be the point of A5 sportback against the A4 avant? Unless it will be a 4-door coupe competing with the passat CC and the rumoured Mondeo CC?

by afterace2 | May 29, 2008 5:30 PM
The RS5, with that huge bump, will be turbocharged? That's funny. You guys forget that Audi was able to get to 420 naturally in the RS4 and R8. I say the new RS5 gets that same, natural, engine.

by heat_fan1 | May 29, 2008 5:59 PM
i think audi has made way more new engines and gear-boxes by 2010 than what ur "source" says...

by shaahinMT | May 29, 2008 7:42 PM
how come there are still no details about the RS4 ?.. is the RS5 completely replacing it ? that would be dumb, as BMW is converting it's M3 in ever more variants... does anybody know ?

by loki | May 29, 2008 8:20 PM
Audi is building one RS model at a time, the RS4 production is being stopped right now, then comes the new RS6, and then the RS5 i suppose.

by afterace2 | May 29, 2008 11:40 PM
oookkk. i do not like only one eninge. the 3.0 l tfsi, 333bhp. it was said that it's going to be 3.0 l supercharged/turbocharged with 350 bhp, not BITURBO and 17 bhp less. what the crap? and oh my god, i think i have my first audi that i hate. and the winner is: yes, it's the R8 Spyder. bleah...:/

by norther | May 30, 2008 1:08 AM
the old S6 has 435 hp while the new S7 should have 394? strange... i dont believe this source is credible...

by bme | May 30, 2008 3:29 AM
also a A7 sportback would be nice but is really unbelievable

by bme | May 30, 2008 3:31 AM
These renderings look nice but the production version always looks completely different. I doubt the R8 spyder will have the headlights like that.

by kevoluetion | May 30, 2008 4:07 AM
it's not about the headlights. the headlights are fine? it's the rear end, cant u see it? it's like a smart roadster, or another car attached to it....like it was, i dont know..glued. it looks awful

by norther | May 30, 2008 5:40 PM
What a line up! A massive launch to take on the competitors. I don't see any point of an A5/S5 sportsback. It ruins the beautiful sculpture of the car. I look to the future in great anticipation!
