First Lamborghini Reventon Arrives in Las Vegas
Filed Under: Lamborghini
The first and only Lamborghini Reventon left for sale on the market has arrived at a dealership in Las Vegas, of the 20 units scheduled for production (plus 2 more for Lambo to keep for themselves) 19 are already spoken for with this extra special unit to carry a special label – Lamborghini Reventon 1/20.
Considering this is the last available model of a very special car, we can expect an exceptionally high price, the Reventon was priced at a cool €1 million ($1.4 million) excluding taxes by the Italian manufacturer, but with the initial dealership mark up and then the scramble from the super rich looking to get it, we wouldn't be surprised to see it go for close to $2 million.
Based on the Murciélago LP640, the Reventon (named after a famous fighting bull) was inspired by the fastest airplanes which we can clearly see with the sharp edges and pointy nose. The engine has been tuned to pump out 10 more ponies to take final output to 650hp, although there are no apparent increases in performance with the 0-100km/h time remaining at 3.4 seconds, top speed is still 340km/h.
this car isnt for track use.. Its for showing off, nothing else.. The GT-R is in a completely different league..
this gose under lights to be admiered andto mess with G-spots...gt-R will go in tracks and winding roads and will mess with G-Froces...so both of them will never ever see eachother face to face...
are the designers and top people at Lamborghini not creative enough to have made this look like a morcialago in a body kit??
but isn't that what this is? a murcielago with 10 more hp and a cool bodykit and different interior...
Every Reventon is grey? Looks very stealthy, cool!
Funny thing is, the 70.000$ GTR is not slower than this! But I understand people wjo buy Reventon, they can afford GTR too. And look at this Lambo, it's passion, italian flair and looks! True italian supercar.
EXACTLY!! moreover, this car is made up of most exclusive, most luxurious, finest materials on the planet.. Technical achievement is not the issue here.
I like this car alot, the aero kit might be deemed ugly by some or over-done but its made so, cause it offers serious aerodynamic benifits. Plus having an LP640 powertrain cant hurt either.
i didnt like the black rims, but the body waaaaaaawww
Awesome! Sometimes it is not just the numbers(in reference to the GTR) but the emotion, the exclusivity and experience.
no it's not... lol this goes around corners faster... and accelerates VERY close to this... probably even faster with teh right driver (one video i saw recorded a 3.2 0-60), manufacturer says 3.5, not the largest difference considering the engines of these two cars and also the technology behind THE best awd system available today (aka the GTR's attesa awd system). like every other user above said... they are in different leagues
i meant the GTR goes around corners faster and accelerates very closely with the REVENTON.
Now that's really somethimg special. That's another proof why I would never buy a playboy Ferrari if I could have a Lamborghini. This looks scary. Enzo sucks! Well done Lamborghini, keep producing better cars than Ferrari!
wow, this car is even labeled "1/20". i would love to have to this or the last one on sale "20/20"!!
If I had money why would I even think about buying GT-R? Even if it was faster it will never make same impression standing as Lambo does. I would want to show off every day not only sometimes on the track. Very mean looking I would get out off the way if I saw one.
i'd take both if i had the money :P both in my mind make a great impression... history is mostley what i'm talking about. But if you wanna pick up a girl take this... if you wanna make a girl have an orgasm, take the GTR around the "ring" ;) lol
how can you compare a nissan and a lambo.. nuff said
i saw the notice and i was :O, the car is so beautiful, so aerodinamic, so well concepted, and i agreed with carcrazy and mr.badluck, and if i had money, i would buy a lambo (in my opinion)

Lamborghini still have it.
