Caught here whilst undergoing testing, here are the best shots yet of the Cadillac CTS Coupe and from the looks of things, the transformation from concept to production will be minimal with many styling elements retained from the concept unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show back in January.
The front fascia appears to have been toned down and styled more closely to the CTS Sedan, the B pillar is now clearly visible as opposed to the window to window style used on the concept, however judging by the fact the door handles are missing, one feature that looks set to make it to production are the touch pad opening mechanism door handles we have seen previously on the Corvette.
The rear styling looks largely unchanged through the heavy camouflage, but check out the huge central-mounted twin exhausts, they look even bigger than those found on the concept - this beast could pack some serious punch. An additional feature we should see on the coupe is a rear view camera which is not available on the sedan.
Sources speculate the CTS Coupe will in fact be named the CTC when it reaches production in May 2009, it will be built alongside the CTS sedan at the Lansing Grand River Plant and released as a 2010 model.
