At the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show Nissan revealed the Intima Concept, a sedan which looked pretty close to production ready. Today, the Chinese Autobloggers came across two (very low res) spy photos of what looks very much like the finished Intima.

The futuristic taillights and exhaust tips have been dropped, to no great surprise, but overall shapes seem to have survived in what could be Nissan's flagship in China. Now that these images have surfaced, it is only fair to assume that the new Nissan will make its world debut at next months Auto China in Beijing.

The Nissan Livina Geniss was launched at the 2006 Guangzhou International Motor Show. Currently the Nissan Livina range consists of the Livina and Livina Geniss. Could it be that the new sedan will be join the Livina range, or will the name remain Intima? We hope to have some answer next month at the 2008 Auto China show.

the headlamps look like the one on the Tata Elegante concept which came much much before this.. so, the tables r turning eh?? ;)

even the grill..

yes there is a similarity, but i think Nissan has executed it with far more drama! also stacked headlights are nothing new, so i dont think Tata is so original. the Intima's "sliced" through headlights look far better and more complex. as for the grille? yep its standard Nissan fare.... theres far more complexity in the surfacing of this vehicle than the pictures suggest.

....i am of course referring to the concept Intima and not the spyshots.

BBC's Top Gear magazine suggested that the UK "deport" the CLS and "import" the Intima after seeing it at Tokyo.

sick, that has nothing to do with Mercedes CLS Design. The conception was very interesting. But these real shot don't let me get an opinion.

I think it looks a lot like a Toyota Solara, only with a Nissan flare to it.

more interesting than our altima

I saw a new altima drive past the other day. I thought it looked very clean, and with the square shoulders in the back, it looked as though it had a subtle hint of gt-r in it. For $20,000 it's pretty interesting.
