Some vehicles need big world premieres, such as the Lancia Delta. And not because the car lacks anything, but just because of the high importance of the presentation. When it comes to the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, though, anything more than what has been done would be an excess. See for yourself in this video we have brought to you.
When Alfa’s CEO, Luca de Meo, introduced the car (in French), saying it is one of the most beautiful Alfa cars ever done, all that happens, as you can see in this video, is an unveiling (literally speaking), with a beautiful woman showing the car. And, when the roadster appears, you may confirm nothing else would be necessary. The striking lines of the 8C Spider are all the audience needs.
Just like the coupe version, the 8C Spider will be build in a limited series, with only 500 units. It counts on a 4.7-litre V8 to cruise, although this engine’s real purpose is not exactly to propose a calm ride around the block. Developing 450 cv at 7,000 rpm and 480 Nm at 4,750 rpm, this V8 certainly likes to scream.
