SEAT could spring a sweet surprise at Geneva by unveiling this upcoming Ibiza there. These pictures were leaked on the Internet this morning and show a vastly improved interior for Ibiza.

Having been out in the market since 2002, the current model is due for replacement this year and this Bocangera looks to be it. Ibiza plays in the same space as VW Polo, Daihatsu Sirion, Toyota Yaris hatch and Ford Fiesta. Not a bad drive on its own, Ibiza has been let down by bland design in the past, something the new car will evidently overcome with one fell swoop. Worst has been the interior. Now this has been sorted out as the images show, even though the route taken is simplistic, clean design.

Engines will run from 1.0-litre petrol and small diesels, all the way up to the 1.8 Cupra whose bag will contain tricks worth up to 150kW. VW Group’s 1.4 TSI will make its presence felt too.

I's "Bocanegra" and not "Docanegra". Bocanegra means "blackmouth"

Very hot Ibiza, that`s is the right look for a new sporty car....ufff I would like to order this concept and then put in some powerful torquey diesel from the top of the range!

As User "pacopepe13" said: It´s not Docanegra, it´s BOCANEGRA! Please correct this..... I love this car...

When i posted these photos in my Seat-Board (www.Seat-Power.at) at early afternoon, there was a big feedback..... Many guys love this car.... This wasnt so when the new Leon was reveilved....

looks somehow like a mixture of leon and corsa, but it's gonna be a cool, well tuned car

Finally, a form that befits the name Ibiza!!! The Bocanegra" treatment to the grill, headlights, and air intakes is just breathtaking. The bigger looking the grill, the better, I say! I love how Volkswagen, Audi, and now SEAT (no coincidence!) are blurring the main grill and lower air intakes together. I hope to see a Bocanegra version of the third-generation Leon, and that SEAT doesn't tone this concept down before it hits production. ¡Bien hecho, SEAT!

this is a concept? Taking the back straight of the mazda 3 hatchback and merging it with a mazda 2 front end and adding a couple of bumber elements is nothing new. Taking production models as a base for creating a concept is just to show that this is catching up with exterior styling. That being said i do like that interior, too bad it will never make it to production.
