Well it might not feature the “Hoff”, but NBC continues to hype the upcoming made for TV remake of Knight Rider to virtually unparalleled dimensions. The newest commercial features Michael experimenting with KITT’s shape shifting abilities. Although rather limited, KITT appears to have the ability to morph into a variety of different Mustang varieties and colors.

Premiering this Sunday February 17th at 9pm EST in the United States, the movie is a remake of the 80’s cult classic of the same name. To the dismay of many Knight Rider fans, KITT is now a Ford Mustang GT500KR instead of the Pontiac Trans Am featured in the original series.

hehe I love what "nano tech" has the capabilities of doing. And if you think that is stupid, you should look up the specs on this new and the old kitt car. It's fantasy, turn your brain off and enjoy haha.

Hollywood is trying to make a futuristic show with a dated retro-design that made Ford look desperate in the first place? This has failure written all over it.
