499hp desert racer

Delta is arguably one of the most experienced and venturing 4x4 tuners in Germany, which they have once again proven at the Essen Motor Show in Germany with the Delta DUNE, a 499 horsepower desert racer.

The Delta DUNE Project car is based on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and reaches 100 km/h from stand-still within 5 seconds. It can do this thanks to a specially developed motor managent system and sport exhaust system with performance manifold.

The exterior of the DUNE has been lifted by 100 mm but has a new front spoiler which lowers the clearance by 50 mm and rides on custom 23 inch Elements IV wheels wrapped in Continental Cross Contact 305/40 R 23 rubber. But, despite of all the power and clearance, Delta has had the foresight to also install the Warn winch, just in case you do manage to get stuck.

To finish the project car, Delta has covered the car in specially painted foil in maroon matt-finish which provides (scratch) protection in extreme conditions.
