Following the SEMA unveiling last week of the Pratt & Miller built E85 powered 600hp Corvette C6RS which was commissioned by American talk show host and die hard car enthusiast Jay Leno, Pratt & Miller soon afterwards announced they will produce a limited edition Corvette C6RS. Available in April 2008 the C6RS is based on Pratt & Miller's Le Mans-winning Corvette C6.R race cars including a Katech built 8.2-liter (500ci) all-aluminum small-block V-8 engine producing 600 hp and 600 ft.-lbs of torque, full carbon fiber body shell and outer panels, computer-controlled adjustable suspension, Brembo monoblock brakes, center-nut forged aluminum BBS wheels with Michelin tires and two-tone leather interior.

Pratt & Miller make no mention whether the limited edition C6RS will be E85 biofuel powered like Jay Leno's SEMA car, but surely, if the price is right, it can be done. See press release below for further details regarding body and technical upgrades.

name me a car that is naturaly aspirated and has this power and torque at low rpm (http://www.prattmillerc6rs.com/autoweek_nov5.htm). i'm sure that if you put twin turbos on this car like some other companies (porsche) you'll be pushing at leat 900bhp. you know the saying "theres no replacement for displacement"? it's true.

E85 produces considerably less horsepower which isn't much talked about put E85 in one of ur porches for 1 it won't work 2 u might get a whole 200 horsepower not to be mean or anything it's just hard to produce hp with a substance that has a lower combustion capability

Hey drag, get your facts straight.. E85 actually has a higher octane rating than that of regular gasoline..therefore producing more horsepower.

E85 acts like diesel fuel, it loves boost, volvo and saabs seem to be doing fine with it with considerable horsepower gains. With conversion kits from gasoline to E85 running between 1500-2500$. As for putting E85 in a porsche, if it was turbo ud prolly gain 200hp not lose because ud be able to bump the boost way up. If this engine was TT it would be well over 1500hp on E85.
