Combining dynamism, sporty flair and pampering is maybe not the most unusual, but Mercedes has managed to achieve it on their Viano van. The spacious van is coupled with Mercedes' top-of-the-line comfort and has received redesigned bumpers, side skirts and radiator grille. Additionally you will find a chrome-plated tailpipe and 18 inch light alloy wheels with 245/45 tires.
But not all is cosmetic, the Viano X-Clusive is only available with a V6, a first on the Viano model line. All the V6 engines actually amount to two engines, a 3.0 liter 204 hp CDI diesel engine and a 3,5 liter 258 hp petrol engine, known as the M272, which should propel the Viano to 100 km/h from stand still in 9,5 second.
The indivudual leather or Alcantara seats can be positioned in pretty much any way you can imagine (face-to-face or in rows) and can be replaced with a bench version if there is interest. A smooth and comfortable ride is garanteed by Mercedes with their Thermotronic climate control and self-levelling air suspension at the rear axle. The interior is finished with a burr-walnut design, illuminated door sills while the exterior is finished in a choice of two colors, namely brilliant silver or obsidian black.

The name says it all: the Viano special model appeals to all the senses without compromising its basic values of spaciousness and variability.
The unmistakable look of the Viano X-CLUSIVE exudes dynamism and sporty flair. The top-class Viano shows its individuality with a silver-look radiator grille, specially developed front and rear designer bumpers with integral spoilers, designer side skirts, a chrome-plated tailpipe and striking 18-inch light-alloy wheels shod with 245/45 tyres.

The interior of the X-CLUSIVE pampers occupants with an extremely high standard of comfort. Illuminated door sills and soft carpeting welcome the occupants, who are accommodated on six individual seats upholstered in anthracite-coloured leather. As an option the individual seats are available in exclusive TWIN Leather Alcantara in pebble and anthracite. The rear seats can be adjusted, as is usual in the Viano, in 25-millimetre steps and also arranged in a face-to-face configuration. Bench seats are also available as an alternative to the individual seats. The standard-fit multifunction steering wheel, the shift/selector lever and sections of the door linings are trimmed in leather. Elegant decor strips in two burr-walnut design variants add the finishing touch to the luxurious interior.
The THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control system and self-levelling air suspension at the rear axle provide the ultimate in comfort on board the Viano X CLUSIVE. PARKTRONIC and a headlamp cleaning system are included in the standard specification to assist the driver.
Line-up consists entirely of six-cylinder engines
The engine and suspension on the Viano X-CLUSIVE are equally synonymous with dynamism and comfort. Powerful six-cylinder units are the only engines you will find under the bonnet - unique in the Viano class. Engine options include the sophisticated V6 CDI developing 150 kW (204 hp) from 3 litres of displacement and impressive maximum torque of 440 Nm. The alternative comes in the guise of a V6 petrol engine with its 3.5 litres of displacement, 190 kW (258 hp) and 340 Nm.
Particularly impressive here are the unit’s outstanding refinement and smooth power delivery. This engine has already been well received by Mercedes-Benz passenger car customers - it is available in practically all the model series. The M272-designated engine accelerates the Viano from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. The power from this diesel engine is transferred to the wheels by means of a five-speed automatic transmission. Both powerplants comply with the EU 4 emissions standard thanks to state-of-the-art emissions control systems. The efficient use of fuel is not only easy on the wallet; it is especially kind to the environment.
Optimum safety is as much an integral part of the Viano X-CLUSIVE as with any Viano. The high-performance braking system teams up with the latest-generation ESP® with ABS, ASR, Brake Assist (BAS) and electronic brake force distribution (EBV). Thorax sidebags for the driver and front passenger supplement the front airbags.
Choice of two lengths
The Viano X-CLUSIVE is based on the high-quality AMBIENTE design and equipment line. It is available in two lengths - 4.75 m and 4.99 m - and is offered exclusively with a stylish metallic paintwork. Prospective customers have a choice of brilliant silver or obsidian black.

FOUR-WHEEL MOTIVE TRACTION IS ALSO A MUST IN TANDEM WITH THIS VEHICLEs IMPROVED PERFORMANCE DYNAMICS.
The Xclusive looks fantastic....only one problem for me is, as a Limoisine for Golf-Tours..Extra long wheel base is an absolute must, I'M Shocked at this beautiful Wagon with no space for luggage, please tell me that M.B. Are going to produce this in Extra Long wheel base..otherwise its a waste of space, if you pardon the pun.....
