Large. Larger. Maxi.

A crossover of a different kind which fills the gap between the Caddy and the T5. The Volkswagen Caddy Maxi adds 47 centimeters to the Caddy and now fits 7 people AND luggage in a new class of vehicle which combines the practicality of a transporter van and the versatility of a compact people carrier.

The Caddy Maxi measures exactly 4875mm in length (wheelbase has grown to 3002mm) and allows 380 liters of luggage while seating 7 people, fold down the rear seats and cargo area grows to 1350 liters. The panel van takes the cake though with 4200 liters of stowage space. The interior is nearly identical to the Caddy with the exception of more leg room, an extra 50mm, for passengers in the second row of seats.

Three engines are on offer, two diesels and a petrol engine producing 75 kW. Base engine is the tried and tested 1.9 liter TDI (77 kW), and new to the range is the 2.0 litre TDI with 103 kW.
