VW Passat 4-Door Coupe Spied In Clear View
Rumors have been flying for some time that Volkswagen would create a stylish 4-door “coupe” version of their Passat similar to the Mercedes CLS. Now uncovered in the U.S. southwest is a never seen before VW prototype which closely matches the description.
Judging by the polished and near production look of this prototype as well as lack of camouflage, masters of disguise, VW, seem to have managed to keep this prototype away from prying eyes during the early stages of its development. Usually, it is not until the end of a prototype's development that most of the full body camouflage is shed except for front and rear end coverings. Could we possibly have a Frankfurt surprise on our hands?

This really can't excite me either. What's wrong with the passat sedan? What is a coupe adding exactly?
looks too much like the chrysler 300M but would've been a good idea otherwise so. dont think it will be a failure though.
This car going to be shared the same platform in the next 4 door coupe, Audi A7, in few years time.
Exciting? No, but interesting. I like VW, and I think the Phaeton is one the coolest cars ever rolled over the highways. So subtly... I've been driving one, and want it scince then.. This maybe could make the Phaeton (very good car, even better than Lexus LS or Mercedes s-class) a bit more available for me..
Wow this looks amazing! I've always wanted the new Passat but wound up getting an Acura TL instead. This might just win me over.

Hey! VW... I have some suggestion here. you want it to be a coupe right? Then put on bigger wheels, says 20". Bring the front wheels 20cm forward and rear wheel track 20cm wider.
when will vw learn!? this car is awful. this car is such a week design and a clear rip off of the merc. it has failure written all over it. havent the learnt from the nonsense that is phaeton? oooh a four door coupe passat! wow i think im gonna come! not! talk about scraping the barrel. vw one of the dullest car companies on earth. period
