Bond 22 Features New Ford Ka

Looks like the new Ford Ka will make its debut in Quantum of Solace, the 22nd James Bond picture.  Our friends at Jalopnik first spotted a glimpse of the car in some promotional footage of the film recently released.  The car appears as part of product placement agreement Ford struck with Bond studio partners Sony/MGM.  You can spot the car in action at approximately 2:24 into the video above.

There are some rally-style graphics on one side of the Ka, but by-and-large it is hard to get a good look at the car.  One thing is for sure: the new Ford Ka looks a bit bigger than the current model.  However, being that the scene shown uses the Ka in a stunt, the car may have been altered for safety, cinematic, or practical purposes.  Also, the Bond Ka has the same steeply tapered rear windows as the spy photos we showed you back in January.

We previously reported that Bond 22 will definitely feature an Aston Martin DBS.  Hopefully, Sony/MGM will be able to renew deals with Aston Martin and Jaguar, now that one is no longer a part of Ford Motor Company and the other is about to be sold to Tata.  Otherwise, we might see the British spy trying to cruise for chicks in a Ford Fiesta.  It has to be better than him driving around in a Mondeo like last time.
