It looks more like a refresh than a new model. They made the front more streamline and modern. I do not like the Chola brow tail light though...

In my view this is an evolution rather than a revolution of the E70 X5. Aesthetically it definitely looks more modern and is an improvement on the E70. Look at the headlights. Love the way they taper onto the grill. Yes and the grill itself is larger on this new F15 X5. It gives the Crossover more presence, more authority. The taillights are an improvement. The E70's orthogonal (mutually perpendicular) taillights were too sharply angled whereas the F15 looks lovingly moulded. I look forward to the professional driving reviews. As far as aesthetics, I prefer the new look to the old. BMW have now placed the nascent X5 firmly in this second decade of a great century.
