Press Release

100 vehicles for disabled people nationwide

Daihatsu announced today that it will donate 100 mini-vehicles for the disabled to prefectural governments throughout Japan as part of activities commemorating its 100th anniversary that will be celebrated on March 1, 2007.

Daihatsu, which was established in 1907, has gained the support of many customers worldwide throughout its 100-year history.

As a part of activities to mark this milestone, Daihatsu will donate mini-vehicles for the disabled to support greater social participation by elderly and handicapped persons. Daihatsu plans to donate the vehicles in the period from April through June of 2007 in cooperation with the government of Osaka Prefecture, where Daihatsu is based.

As a member of the local community, Daihatsu remains dedicated to engaging in social contribution activities along with other members of its corporate group.
