Hyundai Mexico has revealed the Grand i10 for the local market.

Basically a sedan version of the standard i10, the vehicle lengths 3.99 meters and will be manufactured at the company’s plant in India, where the local Xcent model is also made.

In the South American country the compact car will be available only with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces 87 PS (64 kW). It will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, while an automatic gearbox is expected next year.

The model will be offered in three different trim levels. Optional equipment includes an automatic AC, rear parking sensors and camera, auto-folding mirrors and one-touch electric trunk opening. The price for the base variant starts at 7,950 EUR (9,870 USD).
