Basically a rebadged Nissan Juke Nismo for China

Infiniti has released several images with the ESQ set to debut on August 29 at the Chengdu Auto Show.

Fans of the Nissan Juke living in China will rejoice after hearing the funky crossover will be available in the People's Republic before the end of this year. It will be sold as an Infiniti ESQ which will essentially be a rebadged Juke Nismo wearing the same aggressive body with a prominent front spoiler lip, extended side skirts and a big rear diffuser.

The interior cabin appears to be slightly more upscale while under the hood it's the same 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine packing 200 PS (147 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque sent to the road through a CVT.

Scheduled to go on sale this October, the Infiniti ESQ will have a starting price of about 200,000 yuan (32,500 USD) which will rise to 300,000 yuan (48,700 USD) for the fully-loaded model.

About pre-facelift headlamps, you know Nissan. Remember they were too lazy to put Nissan badges on domestic market Q50, Skyline. Plus not even default Infiniti badge is attached to the trunk lid.
