2015 Dodge Charger & Challenger to debut in New York [video]

Models will be unveiled on April 17th

Dodge has announced plans to introduce the 2015 Charger and Challenger at the New York Auto Show.

Details are limited but the company says the Challenger is "new from the inside out" and features a "new powertrain combination that is sure to get enthusiasts abuzz." The latter apparently refers to a new Scat Pack instead of the highly-anticipated Hellcat engine.

The Charger, on the other hand, will receive a "full-body makeover with nearly every single body panel being resculpted." That's not much to go on but Dodge says the model will have a "sleeker, more modern appearance."

Both cars will be unveiled on April 17th, so stay tuned for full details.

That would be great. Only if they turned the Charger into the coupe version and slot that Superbee below the SRT Viper...SRT Superbee, a V8 sportcar to penetrat lower segments for SRT sub-brand

It was very strange that they made the Charger a sedan. It should have been a coupe as you recommended.

Nissan has been using GT-R for Skyline models for ages. That didn;t stop them to evolve the GT-R into a stand-alone product, a better version from previous generations, raising the bar for what sport cars should do. So using the name Superbee for a standalone SRT model would be a great move. Now that the Viper is trailing behind in sales (closing of factory for a period because of decreasing demand) they must adapt fast and capture the crowd that otherwise would go for the upcoming Z06. If now they have problems imagine then.
