Should be introduced later this year

Development work continues on the 2015 Opel Corsa as our spies have managed to snap some new pictures of the facelifted model.

Caught undergoing cold weather testing, the prototype has been equipped with an Adam-inspired front fascia that has a wide grille and familiar headlights. The rear of the car is untouched but our spies have previously said we can expect an updated interior with a new steering wheel, an improved audio system and higher quality materials.

Engine options remain a mystery but we wouldn't be surprised if the Corsa is equipped with some new engine such as the 1.0-liter SIDI Turbo three-cylinder that has outputs of 90 HP (66 kW) and 115 HP (85 kW).

The 2015 Corsa could be introduced at the Paris Motor Show in September, so stay tuned for more details.

I think the front will be the same of the Adam and I want Opel to bring the new Omega, the new Antara, the new Astra and the Vauxhall VXR8 GTS.

The rear of the Corsa looks really dated. Don't even get me started on the cabin. The Corsa should be redesigned like the yellow rendering that looks a bit like the GTC and all models should be wearing OPC outfit to make it desirable. As for the unworthy engines, they should be discountinued. It should be offered only with the modern worthwhile ones.

So this is the big GM invest to push Opel? A facelift where the front does not fit to the rest? Opel should bring an all new Corsa, a 4-door Adam, a new Calibra and a new Tigra Coupe.
