A prototype of the second generation BMW X6 M has been caught on camera by our spy photographers who were also able to snap a picture of the interior.
The all-new BMW X6 will probably be introduced in August at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show and we expect the M version to come out before the end of the year. Seen here is the high-performance variant which won't stray away too far from the outgoing model as the styling changes will be minor.
There will be slightly modified headlights, an updated kidney grille and a new look for the front bumper while at the back the taillights and bumper will go through minor surgery. Our spies also grabbed a photo of the interior which will likely be carried over with modest changes from the third-gen X5.
Under the hood it will adopt an evolution of the V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine which will output a little more than 555 HP (408 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. The 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint should take less than 4.7 seconds before hitting an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
